Excited to share this bespoke makers mark I created for furniture makeBryn Morgan-Hughes - (B)M-H
This semi-serifed monogram draws inspiration from the marks of Sheffield makers from as early as the 1700s, encapsulating a sense of structural integrity and timeless craftsmanship. The serif elements evoke stability and heritage, while the soft separations and rounded corners introduce a modern, modular aesthetic, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary design.
Made up of the surname initials ‘M-H’ along with the first name initial ‘B’ embedded discreetly between. Rendered here as a metal punch, with which it can be stamped(smashed) into wood or metal.
